uhm; I took the scenic route on this one and landed on a snowboarding link, which I suppose is not that far away from a surfboard; check it out

just guessing though...

agree  Adrien Esparron: couper serait la bonne traduction, mais en France du moins le vocabulaire reste majoritairement anglais. Une autre source : http://b.portigliatti.free.fr/vocabulaire_fr.htm

carve comme grab ne font pas parti du vocabulaire des surfers mais floater oui

par contre on trouve souvent surfer rapide pour grab sans doute

et parfois surfer fluide peut etre pour carve...
juste une idée

Bon carve de Mick Fanning
La photo est prise vraiment au bon moment, je ralentit car je suis en avance sur la vague, légèrement devant, alors ce carve assez net, permet de m’arrêter afin que la vague creuse un peu.
...Qui envoie un carve bien poussé, tant que la gerbe recouvre son 1.90M.
