Explanation:
Sur une carte de score :
out = aller
in = retour
out : 9 trous (score noté trou par trou, le par de chaque trou étant indiqué au dessus du numéro du trou : par 3, 4 , 5)
in : 9 trous (idem)

L'addition des par de chaque trou donne le par du parcours.
Sauf en match-play, il est obligatoire de noter ses scores sur la carte, trou par trou.

Un joueur de golf parle de son aller et de son retour. Il en sera de même pour un commentateur sportif.
