Following on from Stéphanie's question (and, for what it's worth, I think she is right that this is referring to 'extracurricular activities') and just to clarify mediamatrix's answer, Cristiano Ronaldo did not win the 'Ballon d'Or' in '97 and '02 - that was Ronaldo, or Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima, to give him his full name. He's Brazilian, was a great player at one time, but is getting on a bit now. He's back playing in Brazil now (moved there from AC Milan). Cristiano Ronaldo is ten years younger and is Portuguese. He now plays for Real Madrid (as did Brazilian Ronaldo, which is another reason they often get confused).

The whole thing has a rather ironic tone about it, I feel — one wouldn't normally talk about '½ an achievement', so the writer is obviously being sarcastic in some way. I haven't been following the career of Cristiano Ronaldo (for surely it is he?), but I know that not everyone shares in the adulation with which he is often greeted.
As regards 'context': yes, Enrico, it would ba a huge help if you just told us what your overall documelnt is about generally — is it in fact football (as would seem to be the case from your other questions)?
