ANTENNA INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Here's a bit of the context:

Stage 1
a. Single sided fitting
Drill a 19mm hole. Proceed to STAGE 2.
b. Double sided fitting
Drill a 12mm hole. Fit the feeder assembly through the hole. Push the
weather seal over it. Place base moulding over it. Screw on the base
insert and tighten firmly by hand. Proceed to STAGE 3.

STAGE 4
Fit the rod assembly. Position it as desired and tighten set screws
firmly.
NOTE: For best performance gain rods must not be angled more than 15
degrees from the vertical. Unity gain rods can be angled up to 45
degress from the vertical.

moulure de la base, pièce moulée de la base
Explanation:
"moulure" would apply if the moulding is a profile made from wood.
moulure: "Profil de grande longueur ornant un ouvrage d'architecture ou de menuiserie."
"pièce moulée" would apply if the moulding is a 3D part, likely molded from plastic resin. This is a defined term in Le Grand Dictionnaire.
From the context, the moulding appears to be an element of the base assembly, as opposed to being a "basic moulding".
"base" would become "de la base", or "du socle", if you prefer to name the base assembly as such.

Hope this helps,

Marc

moulure de base

Explanation:
Comme il s'agit d'un couverture à installer, plutôt que quelque chose à former (autre sens de "base moulding"), il me semble que la traduction suivante serait la meilleure :

De Termium :
Français :Construction (bâtiment et génie civil)
moulure d'embase s

Du GDT :
Domaine(s)
bâtiment
élément du bâtiment
Anglais :
base moulding (a)
Any moulding placed near the base of a column, of a wall, etc. (b)
Français :
moulure de base n f
(a) Toute moulure placée près du socle d'une colonne, d'un mur, etc. (a)
