Je pense que je traduirais ainsi la phrase. Ciao, J-M

déambulations de promenade aléatoire

Explanation:
<<Promenade aléatoire sur un cube
1. On part du point A et on se promène de façon aléatoire sur les arêtes du cube jusqu’à atteindre le point G [so THAT's how you find it!].
Le but du problème est de calculer le nombre moyen d’étapes pour y parvenir. On appelle étape le parcours entre deux sommets consécutifs. On appelle n p la probabilité de joindre G en n étapes.
n est au minimum égal à 3 et de façon évidente>>

Since in your case "wanders" appears to be a noun rather than a verb, I suggest "déambulations", sinon "se déambuler" as a verb. The last bit pure guesswork.
