English term or phrase: siding
This item is in a list of options in a home improvement package. This term includes "aluminum siding" (voie d'aluminum), but also includes other types of siding. How can I translate this briefly, so it still sounds correct within the list (doors, windows, siding, furnaces, etc.)? I had thought of simply putting in "voies", but feared it wouldn't get the point across...

French translation:revêtement/recouvrement/bardage/parement
Explanation:
This is a standard term: revêtement d'aluminium, de brique, de pierre, etc. used in the construction and real estate sectors. You could also go with recouvrement (a synonym)

Notes:
Bardage applies only to wood siding
Parement is not as common
All these terms can be found in Termium, in the «Revêtements extérieurs» section.

Thank you for your prompt assistance in this matter. I usually translate from French to English, but was drafted into proofreading a French text "plein de faux-sens"! Thanks again!
