The context is a tracking software used on a fleet of trucks. Overrange as a noun I believe is when data is beyond the range of a measuring device. However I believe that overrange is used as a verb in the following cases and I'm guessing that it means that they want to flag some data as overranged when it exceeds some limit:
"Overrange packets received"
"Overrange total fuel"

Je ferai un mélange des deux réponses précédentes dans le sens où le premier concept correspond selon moi à des paquets reçus hors limite (paquets de données) et que dans le deuxième concept, le total de fuel qui doit normalement être utilisé par le camion est dépassé.Cela rejoint un peu l'idée du surkilométrage mais je n'utiliserais pas ce terme qui est trop restrictif. Je resterais dans l'utilisation de hors limite, dépassé.

The examples you mentioned imply data that is outside the normal range, what I would translate by "hors-limite"

If it's a question of monitoring trucks (with tachygraphs?), it could well be a question of the range (portée) of the trucks being exceeded.
