Je vois très bien de quoi il s'agit : l'orifice où on branche le câble pour recharger un appareil électrique (rasoir, téléphone, en l'occurrence un vibromasseur) mais comment ça s'appelle exactement?

Généralement, le terme prise de courant désigne la partie femelle d'une connexion électrique, alors que la partie mâle est désignée par le terme fiche d'alimentation électrique. Cependant, on trouve parfois le terme prise de courant pour désigner le dispositif de branchement constitué des deux parties, mâle et femelle. Dans ce cas, on utilise le terme socle pour en désigner la partie fixe.

neutral  Tony M: Given that the specific device in question is almost certainly designed ONLY to be recharged when not in use, and not actually powered from the mains for use (trailing wires are SUCH a nuisance...!), I think this solution is less than ideal.

une proposition parmis d'autres mais il me semble qu'on parle de secteur dans ce cas la... Lorsqu'on achète un appareil mobil ou autre, c'est écrit: "fourni avec la prise secteur"
