FUSION FOLK
Refined and reworked Eastern patterns dominate this season's ethnic print scene, represented by the delicately fused & faded maxi paisleys, stark 80's flashy ones, but also through rich, couture-like over-scaled Persian prints, damasks and opulent suzanis. Traditional Japanense and Eastern European patterns were blended with abstract & geometric designs, resulting in a new take on the theme.
Les motifs orientaux, version raffinés et retravaillés, dominent les impressions ethniques cette saison, notemment par les maxi cachemires usés et fusionnés, par les petits cachemires très 80's flashy, mais aussi par les riches impressions perses *** façon couture*** au grand raccord, les damasks, et les suzanies opulantes. Les motifs traditionnels japonisants et ceux de l'Europe de l'Est se mélangent subtilement avec des abstraits et des géometriques pour un nouveau traitement du thème.
