Le GDT donne la définition et la traduction suivante :

'In transport planning, an imaginary line, usually following such physical barriers as rivers or railway tracks, along which traffic counts and interviews may be conducted and compared.'

cordon de comptage

La définition colle tout à fait avec mon texte mais ce qui m'ennuie, c'est que 'cordon de comptage' semble essentiellement utilisé au Québec.

Existe-t-il un équivalent en français "métropolitain" ?
