Explanation:
I partly agree with Orla in regard to 'beartaíocht' but it tends to be used in terms of 'tactics' (Dictionary of Parliamentary Terms. Foras na Gaeilge). The words 'gliceas' (which suggests 'cleverness, cunning') or 'stuaim' (suggesting patience and steady skill) are also be used for 'ingenuity'. [Reference: Ó Dónaill "Irish-English" dictionary].
