Normalerweise wären borrowings doch Ausleihungen/Verbindlichkeiten, wenn der Begriff aber unter capitalization, also Kapitalaustattung, einer Bank auftaucht, sind das dann Kredite/Ausleihungen, die gewährt wurden?
Beispiel:

Heißt issued in dem Fall ausgegeben/gewährt?
Weiteres Beispiel:
Between September 1, 2005 and September 26, 2005, the Company issued approximately $571.9 million in long-term borrowings and retired/matured approximately $490.88 million of its long-term borrowings |

Would be appropriate here. Renders the financing nature of the borrowings and the liability nature.

Although I see nothing wrong with simply calling them langfristige Verbindlichkeiten. The note merely says that the capitalization (here the OUTSIDE capitalization) changed due to the issuance and repayment of langfristige Verbindlichkeiten |
