That\'s a nice new English word - \"Rückfluss\"; but I guess you have what you need, anyway....This can happen as in 2002, when the Elbe was in flood it stopped its tributaries from joining the flow as they normally would, and the Havel, for example, backed up to Havelberg, causing widespread flooding in that region too. |

In particular, since the stream flows through the city in the opposite direction of the Han River, when the water of the Han River backed up and overflowed in the rainy season, the stream sometimes became a raging torrent. Overflowing of the stream caused constant troubles.
