Explanation:
Dumm, ich dachte zunächst an das Objekt oder "Symbol" selbst, das hier abgebildet ist - neben der erwähnten "signature". Aber jetzt glaube ich, dass es sich um einen Begriff aus der Grafik handelt und "Rahmen einer Abbildung" bedeutet (--> die signature befindet sich in einem grafischen Rahmen, der größer oder kleiner gezogen werden kann).

Etwa wie hier (s. unter "Bilder einbinden"); IMO ist die cartouche der gestrichelte Rahmen, der die Größe des Bildes anzeigt):

Asker: Entschuldigung, ich habe vergessen zu erwähnen, dass es sich in der Tat z. B. um Leuchtreklame o. Werbeschilder und deren Aufbau geht, nicht um die Grafik an sich.
