English to German translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Aerospace / Aviation / Space / cockpit design | | English term or phrase: vertical situation display | Hi,
I'm working on a paper about cockpit design for airplaines, and there are some things I'm not sure whether to leave in English or, if they are commonly translated, what to call them (see also my other questions about this):
Among the standard cockpit eqipment are dual HUDs, dual EFB, SATCOM, vertical situation display, full format map.
What is the German term for "vertical situation display"? Is the English term known in German aviation circles?
