English to German translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Aerospace / Aviation / Space / Cockpit Design | | English term or phrase: alternate flaps | Hi,
I'm working on a paper about cockpit design for airplaines, and there are some things I'm not sure whether to leave in English or, if they are commonly translated, what to call them (see also my other questions about this):
While it looks different from a broad picture standpoint, details such as alternate flaps and alternate gear, ECS information are all identical to Airplane X.
What is the German term for "alternate flaps"? Is the English term known in German aviation circles?
Thank you very much in advance!
