Environmental leaderhip appears in the headline for a paragraph that makes the new super-plane sound really "environmenally friendly".

Boeing’s commitment to improving environmental performance continues with the 787 Dreamliner:
• Uses 20 percent less fuel per passenger than competing aeroplanes, resulting in 20 percent lower carbon dioxide emissions.
• At almost 90 seat-miles / gallon (38 seat-km / litre ) fuel efficiency, the 787 Dreamliner is as efficient as today’s hybrid cars. (taking into account average occupancy)
• Significantly reduces emissions by using the latest clean engine technology.
• Has significantly quieter takeoffs and landings – great news for the people in airport neighbourhoods in our communities.

agree  Dr. Erich A. Schmidt: Auch ich habe in den vergangenen 20 Minuten gebrütet und bin mit einer vergleichbaren, aber nicht besseren Lösung herausgekommen. Ich schließe mich deshalb Steffens Vorschlag an.

Explanation:
Würde die dieser Industrie eigene Dynamik und die Führungsposition - es gibt ja nur einen heftig bekämpften Wettbewerber - deutlich machen, und zwar durch das aktive Verb.
