Tech/Engineering - Aerospace / Aviation / Space | | English term or phrase: time changed item | Aus einem Vertrag über die Lieferung von Luftfahrtkomponenten. Der Begriff "Time Changed Item" taucht in den Definitionen auf und wird wie folgt erklärt:
"TCI shall mean Time Changed Item.
TCI and SLL item shall refer to the Component for which a prescribed operating period is planned, in flight hours, and which has to be replaced by a new Component after its TCI or SLL, as specified by the manufacturer in the Master Servicing Recommendations (MSR)..."

Eurodic nennt das ein "Fristaustauschteil". Was gemeint ist, ist klar? Ein Bauteil, dass mit der Zeit seine Funktionsfähigkeit einbüßt, z.B. ein degradierender Kunststoff, und das daher nach einer bestimmten Zeit / Betriebszeit ausgetauscht werden muss, bevor ein Defekt auftritt.
näher dran wäre etwas etwas wie "zeitlich degradierendes Bauteil" - klingt aber nicht so schön amtlich ;-)
