Bei Google in einer Reihe mit "digging, ploughing und cultivating".
In der ganzen mir übersehbaren Lexikographie herrscht gähnende Leere. "rotivieren" gibt es bei Google auch nicht.
Ich habe für den Satz bislang:
"Versuchsflächen wurden ohne Herbizidbehandlung vor der Strauchpflanzung und Mulchung rotiviert."
