| | Clarification request(s) and responseaykon: 12:36pm Mar 28, 2008: hmmm, Siedlung (settlement) ist aber etwas allgemeiner als "township" oder "hamlets". Es kann ja auch viele einzelne, verstreute Höfe oder Hütten geben. Hier ist der Zusammenschluss von mehreren gemeint.

sonst würde mir nur Bebauungspläne einfallen, aber ob das wirklich passt?
aykon: 2:59pm Mar 28, 2008: Ja, aber hier geht es eben nur um die Ansiedlung in Weilern oder Dörfern, eben nicht um Einzelgehöfte oder Städte. "Siedlungsmuster" klingt gut, aber die Frage, ist, ob es noch was Genaueres gibt, denn es sind ja nicht "patterns of settlements" sondern "patterns of townships".
