"Der Lufttisch ist ein mit Kugeln bestückter Tisch, der innen hohl ist, in diesem Hohlraum wird Druckluft zugeführt, wird dann das Schneidegut dort hinauf gelegt, werden die Kugeln herunter gedrückt, die Druckluft strömt heraus. Nun „schwebt“ das Schneidegut auf einem Luftpolster und lässt sich leicht schieben."
