agree  Steffen Walter: That's it although I first thought of "consolidated" but this would be a) rather unusual usage and b) ruled out by the "vehicle funding facilities..." bit. Now that you've beaten Ralf, have you recently installed a faster "Internet access facility"? ;-))

oder "in der Vorperiode". c steht hier offensichtlich für "compared to" oder "confer" (= vergleiche, lat.). Das ergibt sich aus der Rechnung im 2. Satz:
"Der Verlust von 187 Mio. GBP stellt eine weitere Halbierung des auf das Jahr hochgerechneten Ergebnisses 2000 (390 Mio. GBP) dar, welches wiederum die Hälfte des im Jahr 1999 entstandenen Betriebsverlustes (780 Mio. GBP) repräsentiert." Unelegant ausgedrückt. Man sieht, der jeweilige Jahresverlust ist um ca. 50% niedriger als der entsprechende Vorjahresverlust).
