Sorry, should have done that in English... Anyway, you have to change the sentence to that it will "verringern" (lower) the Kraftstoffverbrauch, because in German it is expressed in Liters used per 100 km, so the lower the number the better!

Kilometerleistung

Explanation:

neutral  Cilian O'Tuama: Kilometerleistung ist often used to mean die gefahrenen Kilometer, i.e. the mileage on the clock, which has nothing to do with consumption.

(Note: ~ is expressed in miles per gallon, "Verbrauch" in liters per 100 kilometers, l/100km; hence, as mileage goes up, "Verbrauch" goes down; to convert mileage reduction into added Verbrauch, use equation V%=(100/(100-M%)-1) x 100; vice versa use equation M%=(1-(100/100+V%)) x 100; wherein V% = increased "Verbrauch" in percent, and M% = reduced mileage in percent; for mileage improvement, exchange V% and M%, respectively.) HÖHEREN Verbrauch als entsprechende Autos ohne Abgasreinigung"
