Generally also 'Verschiebung' ("the vector representing the change in position") is used, but the for physical movement of a joystick "Bewegung" is the most natural expression: one does not shift a joystick but moves it.

neutral  mrmp: bei "Bewegung" klingt immer die "Geschwindigkeit der Bewegung des Joysticks" mit, das ist hier aber wohl nicht der Fall, sondern: Die Geschwindigkeit der Bewegung (des refuse c.) ist proportional der ***Auslenkung*** des Joysticks, so verstehe ich das.
