Was könnte "spiking buffer" wohl sein, im Gegensatz zu dem ebenfalls im Testkit enthaltenen "assay buffer"? Der "spiking buffer" ist ansonsten nicht als Reagenz im Kit enthalten, sondern dient anscheinend nur zur Lösung in den Reagenzien mit der Substanz XYZ, auf die getestet wird.

Explanation:
Mit so viel Rückendeckung kann ich ja mal einen CL von 5 einstellen... ;-)

Wie oben bereits erwähnt ist das kein "spiking buffer", sondern der Puffer wurde durch Dotierung ("spiking") mit einer bestimmten Menge von XYZ zubereitet. Da könnte nämlich genauso gut stehen: "Prepared by spiking *the* buffer with a defined quantity of XYZ."
