A company specialises in the production of wireless applications (mobile devices, infrastructure componenents, chipsets etc.). I'm not sure if wireless is the same as Mobilfunk in German, or should one translate with drahtlos, which seems rather oldfashioned.

unter Umständen auch "WAP-Anwendungen", damit ist jedoch Vorsicht geboten, weil "WAP" ein genormtes Protokoll ist, dass sich normalerweise auf Handies bezieht (Wireless Application Protocol). Anscheinend produziert der Hersteller Produkte für Funknetzwerke, Mobiltelefone u.a. Statt "Applikation" kann man natürlich auch "Anwendung" nehmen.

Depends on the context:
-"schnurlos" I would use for my regular phone at home (not my cellphone) which I can carry around without having to bother with a cable
- "drahtlos" and "kabellos" I would use for devices which can receive or send information over a longer distance, e.g. my cell phone or in the context "wireless telegraphy" = "drahtlose Telegrafie" or "wireless installation" = "Funkeinrichtung"
In this context (infrastructure) "drahtlos" seems to be the appropriate one.

Explanation:
"drahtlos" or "schnurlos" are definitely dangerous unless one means only "cordless". "Funkanwendungen" (AltaVista German 137 hits) or "Mobilfunkanwendungen" (AltaVista German 71 hits) would be the best.

"Mobilfunkanwendungen" seems to be good enough for Siemens and the TU Wien at this site:
