Wertpapiere Vorabwicklung Explanation: I am very uncertain here, but trying because you have no other offers. The first problem is what is meant by "pre-settlement". I am guessing, because of your other questions, it refers to pre-settlement risk. (Credit risk is much higher during settlement: pre-settlement, the risk is only that if the couterparty defaults you don´t get the profit you may have been expecting, but during settlement you might lose the whole value, if pay for the thing but don´t receive it.) So now the German: well, many banks do this stuff with borrowed English terms, but your client is asking for translations. Settlement in the sense I understand here is Abwicklung, so I guess this is Vorabwicklung. If that works, but this is not a term I know in German. So my best shot is that it is securities pre-settlement (risk) = Werpapiere Vorabwicklung (Vorabwicklungsrisiko) |
