die Verkaufsprognose; die Umsatzvoraussage Explanation: Both terms are equal in meaning, that is to say, they encompass the concept of forecasting with a business slant. |

Vorausschau Explanation: I think you would have to fiddle with the English sentence to get the meaning across. Perhaps something like Man erstellt eine Vorausschau, indem man den vergangenen Bedarf in die Zukunft projeziert. Nina Gettler |

Vorhersage Explanation: I would translate this sentence as follows: "Als Prognose bezeichnet man die Projektion des in der Vergangenheit beobachteten Bedarfs in die Zukunft" In my opinion, you shouldn't be more specific, as the English term isn't specified either. "Prognose" is used more frequently in an economic context, but "Vorhersage" could also be used just as well. |

Prognostizieren Explanation: As they are talking about a process here, I would suggest: "Unter Prognostizieren versteht man..." Konjunkturprognose is too specific as it refers more to macro-economics, whereas your context suggests an enterprise environment |
