Explanation:
so habe ich diese Phrase in einem Verhaltenskodex für meinen ehemaligen Arbeitgeber übersetzt.

Achtung stand damals auch zur Diskussion. Ich meine, wir müssen uns hier sehr weit von den Amerikanern entfernen. Eben aus besagtem Respekt vor kulturellen Unterschieden. Siehe Wal-Mart-Urteil.

Deshalb meine Empfehlung etwas im Sinne Unser Respekt ... gebietet es ...

  -> In diesem Fall ist weit nicht weit genug. Das werden Rechtabteilung und Betriebsrat gleichermaßen so sehen. Was durchaus ernst gemeint ist. Diese Business Conduction Geschichten sind äußerst problematisch. Da würde ich mich immer mit dem Kunden beraten.
