English term or phrase: Receptionist
Hi there,

I'm helping a fellow translator with the translation of his CV into German (of which I have very basic knowledge).

Context:
"Position held:
- Translator/Interpreter/Proofreader
- Freelance Teacher of Spanish as a foreign language
- Receptionist
- [...]"

(his tasks as a receptionist included: Switchboard operator, routed and screened calls, greeted visitors, responded to inquiries from the public, provided information about the company, assisted in monitoring visitor access.)

What's the best German word for this?

I will consider all your options...
Danke im Voraus,
Alicia

"Empfängssekretär" möchte ich auch noch vorschlagen, da es mir persönlich besser gefällt als "Rezeptionist".
Stepstone spricht z.B. von "Empfangssekretär":
