Dieser Begriff wird auf einer maltesischen Geburtsurkunde verwendet (hier als "Act of Birth" bezeichnet).

Ich werde den englischen Begriff stehen lassen, möchte jedoch eine deutsche Übersetzung in Klammern hinzufügen. Ich denke jedoch, dass es nicht ganz richtig ist, den englischen Begriff mit "Standesamt" zu übersetzen, da ich meine, dass es mehr als ein bloßes Standesamt ist. Einwohnermeldeamt vielleicht?

Konkret heißt es: " I, the undersigned, do hereby certify that the following is a true copy of an Act of Birth registered in the Public Registry Office of Valletta, Malta."

Nachfolgend wird dann auch der "Director of the Public Registry" erwähnt.

Was meint Ihr? Ich bin für jede Hilfe dankbar.
