English to German translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs / Previous translation from Pakistani(?) | | English term or phrase: Murabi (Mullani) | THis is from a Marriage Certificate which was translated from Pakistani to English. It's now supposed to be translated into German.
The source text I have is:
Declaration/Marriage Certificate

2. That the said marriage was solemnized here at Karachi, at Ahmedia Hall on 26/5/2006 in between Manzoor Ahmend and Ayesha Ahmed, against the dowery amount of Rs 1,50.000/- rupees One lac Fifty Thousand only).
3. That the marriage was solemnized with Ayesha Ahmed D/o. Mehmood Ahmed are belong from the Ahmedia Sect by virtue of birth before Karachi on 26/5/2006, being a Murabi (Mullana) of Jamat-e-Ahmedia Hall, Karachi.

Specifically, I don't understand item number 3, anything that follows after the date 26/5/2006. Who/what is a Murabi, a Mullani...
My understanding so far is: Ayesha is the daughter of Mehmood who is of the Ahmedia Sect. After that I am lost....

Explanation:
Where "Mullah" does not carry a formal sense, Maulana is often the word of choice for addressing to Muslim religious scholars. Maulana is more often associated with formal qualification following religious study. I would tend to render it with Mullah. However, what makes me hesitating is the fact, that the Ahmedia Sect is not considered to be Muslim amongst the majority of Muslims.
