Habe hier eine Kopie einer Geburtsurkunde aus dem schönen British Columbia, Kanada, die ins Deutsche übersetzt werden soll. Ist ja auch weiter keine Wissenschaft, nur macht mich folgender Satz stutzig: "This certificate is invalid if plasticized or altered". What the heck is meant by plasticized in this context? Habe spontan an laminiert gedacht, aber das würde erstens laminated heißen, und ergibt zweitens auch nicht sehr viel Sinn. Aber plastiziert oder plastifiziert passt doch erst recht nicht. Oder?
Bin für jede geistreiche Idee dankbar. :-) |
