Insgesamt gibt's aber wenig deutsche Referenzen für diese Masseinheit,was aber auch daran liegen kann, dass in Deutschland allgemein viel weniger Chlorbleiche im Haushalt verwendet wird als in anderen Ländern.
Im Zweifel vielleicht lieber auf Chlor bzw. Hypochloritgehalt umrechnen. |

Man drückt in Deutschland, England, Rußland und Amerika die Stärke des Chlorkalks in Graden aus, welche den Gewichtsprozenten an wirksamem Chlor entsprechen. In Frankreich zeigen die Grade die Anzahl Liter Chlorgas bei 0° und 760mm Barometerstand an, welche aus 1 kg Chlorkalk entwickelt werden können. Multipliziert man die französischen Grade mit 0,318 (1 Lit. Chlor wiegt 3,178g), so erhält man die Prozente. Vgl. Lunge, Handbuch der Sodaindustrie (Braunschw. 1879, 2 Bde.).
