Weiter oben im Text erscheint die Gegenüberstellung schon einmal, dort heißt es jedoch "O-H, C-H, N-H bond strength", was mir plausibler erscheint.
Kann mich jemand in der Annahme bestärken, dass es sich hier einfach um einen Schreibfehler handelt, und es in beiden Fällen "Bindungsstärke" lauten sollte? |

Es sind Schwingungen, bei denen die Bindung "gestreckt" wird, also der Abstand zwischen den Atomen variert.

also abwechselnd wird gestaucht und gestreckt. Ansonsten gibt es ja Schwingungskomponenten durch Änderung des Bindungswinkels. |

Wörtlich ist "bond stretch" in der Tat "Bindungsstreckung" oder eher noch "Bindungsdehnung" - in meinem Fall tippe ich allerdings trotzdem noch auf einen Schreibfehler.
