Es handelt sich um eine Revision. Der Terminus wurde als

Zwischenproduktbeschleuniger

übersetzt. Ist das falsch ?

Ich würde Prokatalyst sagen, aber weiss nicht genau ob das richtig ist.

wäre evtl. eine Möglichkeit; ich kenne mich nicht so gut in Chimie aus, alsdaß ich auf "Prokatalysator" ein Kommentar machen könnte...

A catalyst precursor is a substance which is added to a reaction and is then modified to form the catalyst. AFAICS, a \"Vorkatalyst\" is an appliance upstream of a catalyst in e.g., a car exhaust system, but I\'m not dogmatic on it....

Vielen herzlichen Dank. Pro ist falsch, da es "in favour of" bedeutet, jedoch wäre "pré" (au préalable) besser. Deshalb benutze ich auf gut Deutsch "Vorläufer".
