...it may help someone else. Electrostatic and "Autophoretic(R)" are anti-corrosion treatments of steel
(see: http://www.finishing.com/141/60.html ) for a discussion. What the German for the latter is I've no idea - the rule is that RTMs such as this are not translated, but I guess there is a specialist term for "electrostatic" as well.
