Kann man das mit "Beerenstrukturen" übersetzen? Im Grunde sind es Agglomerate, aber gewollte. Deshalb bin ich unsicher, denn Agglomerate sind ja ungewollt und gelten als technisch unsauber.

Kann es sein, dass hier chemische Partikelverbindungen nach dem "Berry-Rotationsprinzip" gemeint sind? Bin zwar gar kein Chemiker, die "Berry-Rotation" scheint aber in der anorganischen Chemie zum Grundlehrstoff auch an Universitäten zu gehören. Grob gesagt ist das eine bestimmten Gesetzen gehorchende Molekülverbindung zu "Clustern".
