English to German translations [PRO]
Art/Literary - Cinema, Film, TV, Drama / Filmerschließung (notation for a film script)
English term or phrase: feature
What does "feature" mean in a film script? Is it translated into German?

The script is about the Rolex Middle Sea Race, and the corresponding commentary seems to be a sort of excursion:

"Sailing has been in the Ripards’ blood for generations and this maritime clan has won the Middle Sea race five times.
John Ripard Sr. was one of the founders of the race along with his brother Paul.
Paul’s son Christian is a professional sailor currently onboard Moneypenny.
John Ripard Jr. is helming onboard Strait Dealer while his sons 19 year-old Sebastian and 16-year old Tom are on Artie."

Feature / (Kurz)porträt
Explanation:

agree  mill: depending on how "feature" is actually used in your script...

agree  Ingeborg Gowans: in this context: yes: normally feature would be the "Hauptfilm" which is not the case here
