ich übersetze für einen Scheinwerfer (Veranstaltungstechnik). Der Scheinwerfer verfügt über einen "flatted reflector". Folgende Definition habe ich gefunden:
"A flatted reflector uses a series of flat panels to create a curved surface rather than round out the reflector. This is less efficient, but cheaper."
