A brief but memorable role that usually appears in only a few scenes and with few speaking lines. Prominent actors are typically cast in these parts.

Yes  Lonnie Legg: Sorry, ich habe zwar etwas gegen unnötige Fremdwörter, aber das kann hier nicht ausschlaggebend sein. Was mich stört, ist die Implikation (a. durch das Kreimeier-Zitat), dass "Gastauftritt" falsch sei.

  -> tja, wenn selbst wiki das sagt ;-)...und wegen eines Satzbeispiels verleihst Du "neutral"...? vgl. target term und Definition // Gastauftritt ist nicht grundsätzlich falsch, es ist aber etwas weiter gefasst (kein Synonym für Cameo).
