English to German translations [PRO]
Art/Literary - Cinema, Film, TV, Drama | | English term or phrase: pod person | Das kommt in einem Skript für ne TV-Sendung vor. Einer der Freunde bekommt Besuch von seinem Freund, hat aber keine Zeit für ihn, weil er mitten in der Aufnahme für eine Studenteverbindung steckt. Eine Freundin sagt schließlich, "he's turning into a pod person". Ob "pod person" direkt was mit Studentenverbindungen zu tun hat, weiß ich nicht.
Der Text muss heute noch raus, daher freue ich mich auf jede Antwort.

| Grading comment Ivo, aufgrund von Platzmangel habe ich deine Antwort gewählt, weil sie angenehm kurz und knapp ist. Bei einem Limit von nur 38 Zeichen pro Zeile muss man sich was einfallen lassen...
Vielen Dank auch den anderen, freundlichen Helfern. Den Film kenne ich natürlich, habe aber nicht daran gedacht.
Der Vergleich mit G.W. Busch ist sehr passend, btw.
