Hier geht es um einen Kommentar zu der Fernsehserie Shield. Claudette hatte dieses "face off" verdient. Heißt das soviel wie "vor den Kopf geschlagen zu werden" bzw. "zu verlieren"?

Kontext: ...but I felt that Claudette should be having
the "your ass is mine" scene.
And yet, sometimes-- The network
really wanted your character to have that face-off.
