Wer sich gerne nach Microsoft richtet (es werden ja immer wieder die MS-Glossare zitiert), der möge das tun. Erstrebenswert ist es ganz gewiss nicht.

Wenn es schon so viele Möglichkeiten gibt ... :-)
Ich denke, die Formulierung hängt davon ab, wieviel Platz Du im Text hast, wie der Stil im Dokument bisher war, und ob das Ganze eher technisch oder eher nicht so technisch klingen soll. Das hier ist definitiv eine eher nicht technische Variante.
