In "RS-232 Cabled" the Imager thinks it is always connected. It has no way to know (or check) if it is unplugged. Therefore, data collected will be automatically **sent out the disconnected port**, (i.e. it will not buffer the data -- it will only log it, assuming "Send & Log Mode" is set).

Explanation:
Der Autor will uns sagen, dass die Daten dann ins Leere gehen. Empfänger gefällt mir nicht so richtig; Empfangseinheit, Host, Gegenstelle, Computer wären Alternativen, die mir aber auch nicht so recht gefallen.
