English term or phrase: light dump panels

This is what in my text light dump panels are used for:

The area at the rear of the printer incorporates the cleaning station and ***light dump panels*** to absorb and dissipate energy from the UV lamps.

My feeling is that the translation needs to be somewhere along the lines of "Lichtaufnahme- und -abgabeflächen“ (?), but that doesn't sound very technical yet. ;-) Unfortunately, I can't provide the picture, but they look a bit like a small version of solar reflector panels.

Die "Empfangsfläche" eines Sonnenkollektors - der Absorber - nimmt Sonnenenergie auf und wandelt sie in Wärme um. Ein qualitativ hochwertiger Absorber kann über 90 Prozent der Sonneneinstrahlung zur Brauchwassererwärmung nutzen.

Statt "Lichtabsorberfläche" würde ich nur "Absorberfläche" sagen.

Im hinteren Druckerbereich befinden sich eine Reinigungsstation und Absorberflächen zur Aufnahme der ultravioletten Strahlungsenergie der Lampen und ihrer Ableitung.
