English to German translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Computers: Hardware / Laser Imaging | | English term or phrase: box pitch | | Customer Questionnaire - Laser systems and Imaging. Under Requirements/Application they ask about: image size, print rate, substrate, Box Size, Box Pitch, conveyor speed. I am not sure what box in this case means? Gehaeuse, Kasten oder Eingabe? Und pitch - Abstand, Raster? box size - Eingabegroesse und box pitch - Eingabeabstand? Danke fuer die Hilfe. |

in diesem Rahmen, wo nur vom Bild die Rede ist, wird box size die Rahmengroße sein, box pitch die Rahmenauflösung (das Bild muß sich dem wohl fügen, läuft auf Raster hinaus), eine textbox wäre dagegen ein Textkasten (ohne Text- nicht gut), was in dem Rahmen mit nicht so klar ist, ist substrate. Auch hier wäre _noch mehr_ Kontext nicht ganz übel, weil noch Deutungsspielraum bleibt. |
