neutral  Katja Schoone: macht aber doch i. V. m. der Date ID und Message ID nicht viel Sinn, oder?

  -> Doch, ich kann mir das jeweils als Angabe des Datentyps der einzelnen Felder vorstellen. Bedeutet dann, dass jedes der Felder 8 bit gross ist.
agree  Michael Pauls: Ich finde, dass Doppelwort (doubleword = DW) hier als Angabe der Feldgröße sehr viel Sinn ergibt. Allerdings hat ein Doppelwort 32 Bit (4 Byte).

neutral  Katja Schoone: hm, I do not see how this fits in the context of data IDs and message IDs

  -> Durchaus möglich als Bitbreite/Format für dat*E* ID und message ID, wobei "data warehouse" (mir bisher unbekannt) doch plausibler scheint.
