Ich finde "decay rate" im med. und physik. Zusammenhang als Zerfallsrate, Abbaurate, Abbklingrate/quote.
Und in Google folgende Erklärung:

Explanation: Es kommt natürlich noch auf den genauen Kontext an, den du ja nicht direkt gegeben hast. Aber wenn es um einen "decay" geht, geht es um ein Abnehmen, ein weniger, leiser, dunker, schwächer werden. Daher ist "Abnahme" für "decay" eigentlich die Hauptübersetzung, als Überbegriff für Abklingen, Ausklingen, Abbauen, Zerfallen. Und wenn es um Werte, Zahlen oder wie hier um Routing-Verbindungen geht, die mal zu und mal abnehmen, und das (zeitliche) Verhältnis, in dem sie das tun, finde ich den Begriff Abnahmeverhältnis perfekt.
