Ich sitze an einer PPT über Virtualisierung von IT-Umgebungen. An mehreren Stellen wird von "application stacking" bzw. "to stack applications" gesprochen, Beispiele:

Hallo Annette,

Ein "Stack" ist ein reservierter Speicherbereich.
"Stack" oder "Stacking" wird oft nicht übersetzt.

"Application Stacking" würde ich in Anführungszeichen unübersetzt übernehmen. "to stack" könntest du der Definition entsprechend umschreiben.

Schau mal hier, vielleicht kannst du etwas verwerten?
